The average cost for students to attend Prom is approximately $1500. That cost includes attire, grooming services, dinner, tickets, and transportation. We are asking for monetary donations to support our scholarship awards, to cover the cost of Prom tickets, dinner accommodations, jewelry, and all dress/shoe sizes not collected in donations. We are also in need of gift certificates, organizational discounts, and/or services to help provide day-of support. In Prom year 2023, LEX Project Prom awarded its first scholarship and will award them annually as we continue to incur the support of our community. In addition, there is also another financial need to cover our operating costs, such as the cost of storage to store our inventory of dresses throughout the year. We hope to be able to one day have a location where we may be accessible to students throughout their entire Senior year for all Senior-related events.
