Annual Shopping Event

Our all-encompassing program is one-of-a-kind. Students receive a first class, second-to-none shopping experience where they don't have to choose based on what they can afford. We curate a luxurious afternoon where they're given space to browse our profound, modern, and in-style inventory to select their perfect Prom attire and accessories. 98% of our inventory is brand new and courtesy of generous donors like Macy's, Dillard's and more. In addition to apparel, we take care of associated grooming, dinner, and ticket costs all thanks to our amazing sponsors and partners. Though senior year is expensive, it's a time to experience positivity, reflection, and the end of that monumental phase in all of our lives: high school. Students shouldn't have to focus on circumstances or judgement that may cause apprehension and guilt hindering them from cherishing this precious time. LEX Project Prom is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization and initiative serving Fayette County with a mission to redefine what falls under the “needs” category in recognizing defining moments in a student’s life.

We aim to normalize what some consider a “luxury”, to be a standard for every student to celebrate the matriculation of their grade school journey. By taking the full financial burden of prom away, we are able to create moments between students, their families, and their friends that last a lifetime. Learn more about us by clicking below.
